Los Angeles Events for 4th of July
|It’s starting to warm up again. We’re leaving June gloom behind us and welcoming the summer heat. That means it’s time to jump into your swim wear, grab your sunglasses, and jump into the closest body of water to cool off. The beginning of Summer also means July 4th is fast approaching, next week to be exact. If you are a SoCal resident, and haven’t already made plans for a BBQ feast with fireworks, we’ve done the research and found some pretty cool events happening in the Los Angeles area.
The Rose Bowl is hosting the 91st annual ‘Americafest’. This event is one of the largest and longest running 4th of July fireworks shows in the nation. Featuring a spectacular nighttime display of more than a ton of fireworks, you won’t want to miss out.
At the Queen Mary in Long Beach, you can attend their ‘All-American’ celebration featuring live entertainment, family games, arts & crafts, special historic tours, a patriotic theatrical movie in the Queen Mary Theater, and much more. In the evening, enjoy their fireworks spectacular for a July 4th you won’t forget.
The Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa is hosting a tribute to ‘The Boss’. Matt Ryan & The American Dream will be putting on a show recreating Bruce Springsteen’s marathon, party-like shows. This event will close with a brilliant fireworks finale.
If you’re interested in spending the day at the ball game, you can enjoy a spectacular fireworks show at Dodger’s Stadium after they take on the Diamondbacks.
You can attend the 4th Of July Block Party at Grand Park in LA. They will be celebrating with music, food, and an incredible fireworks display launched from the civic center skyline.
Every year the Hollywood Bowl throws a fireworks spectacular, featuring a different musical headliner to lead up to the big show. This year Chicago will be playing.
Is there a big LA July 4th event you think we missed? Want to share with us how you like to celebrate Independence Day? Let us know in the comments below. As a reminder, don’t forget your sunscreen, and have a safe holiday!
