Minions and More!
Along with all the excitement of last week’s Fourth of July celebration, we also celebrated the release of the heartwarming and hilarious Despicable Me 2. This highly anticipated sequel was just as darling and humorous as the first. The exciting plot, quirky new characters, and (most importantly!) all the lovable and comical characters from the original story are just some of the reasons this film is a must-see! Without giving away any spoilers, we want to highlight our favorite Despicable Me 2 costumes from one of our favorite family-friendly films of the year.
In this film, Gru is back with a whole new attitude! After putting aside villainy to raise his newly adopted family, he gets recruited to work for the good guys and is set to go on a special mission! After watching this incredible movie, we won’t be surprised if you’ve made a mental note to be the bad-guy-turned-good this Halloween. Pair this awesome Gru mask with your darkest suit and Gru’s signature grey and black striped scarf to instantly transform into the beloved malicious mastermind!

Then there’s the odd, yet endearing Agnes who is just as sweet as ever in this fabulous film. The youngest of three, Agnes lends her charming innocence and humorous commentary in way that can melt the coldest of hearts. This Halloween, your little one can dress as the sweetest and silliest of Gru’s girls with this adorable Agnes costume!

Last but not least, there are the MINIONS! There’s no denying that these gibberish-speaking, genetically engineered clones are what make the Despicable Me movies so great. These lovable little creatures get a bigger role in the spotlight in this sequel and entertain once again with their endless antics and tomfoolery. It’s no wonder that they are already one of the top costume ideas of the year! We must admit that the new minion costumes are one of our favorites for 2013 and with styles for the whole family, everyone can get their silly on!
