Spooky season is officially here! With hundreds of costume events happening all over the city, it can be hard to decide which events to go to. Wizards Assemble Bar Crawl, October 5th, Downtown LA
If you’re a fan of both the Harry Potter franchise and drinking, this event was made for you! Wizards Assemble is largest Wizard pub crawl in the world. Once you buy your ticket, all cover charges will be waived as you travel with a group of wizards from bar to bar tasting themed drinks and foods. Come dressed in your Wizarding World best to make sure you stand out from the all the Muggles on the street!
Los Angeles Comic Con, October 11-13, Los Angeles Convention Center
Los Angeles Comic Con (formerly known as Stan Lee’s Comikaze Con and Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con) is back and this year, they’re bringing the nostalgia! LACC takes pride in being both for fans and by fans. Whether you want to meet your favorite celebrities or discover an up and coming comic book artist, LACC has something for you. This year, they’re bringing celebrity guests from favorite 90’s and 2000’s shows like “All That”, “Kim Possible“, and “The Office.” Even though it’s a couple of weeks before Halloween this year, LACC is still a hot spot for spooky fun, costumes, and even trick or treating for kids!
Eagle Rock Bark! And Meow, October 27, Eagle Rock, Los Angeles
Bring your furry friends out for a Halloween block party! This block party isn’t any block party, though, it’s also a pet adoption drive! This event is full of fun and freebies for the whole family. Your non furry kids can enjoy a trick or treat village, live entertainments, face painting and free pumpkins while your fur babies can enjoy treats, bandannas, doggie tattoos, and free and affordable pet health services. You might even go home with a new fur friend. Make sure your pet is ready for Halloween fun with a cute costume and don’t forget to get your picture taken by the professional photographer. These memories will last a lifetime!
Harry Potter Murder Mystery, October 27, Geeky Teas & Games, Burbank
If you’re looking for a murder mystery experience like no other, Maid to Order Mysteries has created the perfect event for you! This Harry Potter themed murder mystery party is made for Wizards, Witches, and Muggles alike. Your ticket gets you three hours of role play and problem solving fun plus a glass of Butterbeer or Wine. Costumes are highly encouraged and you just might get something special for dressing up.
