Summer Movie Party Series: Despicable Me Minion Party

With the recent release of the new Minions movie, those funny little creatures have never been more popular. In fact, we’ve noticed that Minion parties are becoming more and more popular. That’s why today, we want to show you how to host a summer movie party with a fun Minion theme. Just dig out that old Despicable Me DVD and take it back to the first time you laid eyes on those lovable creatures. Whether you’re hosting a birthday celebration or just a summer shindig, these Minion party ideas will make your movie party better than a bunch of bananas!

As any Minion fan knows, Minions love dressing in costume. Invite your guests to wear their best Minion or Despicable Me costume. They can be creative and make variations to their character like a baby Minion or a hula dancing Minion. Make it a costume contest to encourage everyone to participate and offer the winner a fun prize.
