You asked for it and we listened. PureCostumes.com now accommodates local customers who prefer to shop in person. With a warehouse just minutes away from Downtown Los Angeles, we’re centrally located and convenient to get to from anywhere in Southern California. With our easy process, we’re changing the way people shop for costumes. If you're in the Los Angeles or Orange County area and want to save on shipping costs or need a costume quick, read on to find out how you can make your purchase in person.
Step 1. Browse Our Catalog Online
To start, we recommend taking time to browse through our site for items you're interested. Because we're just a warehouse, we won't have any costumes on display. When browsing, be sure to write down the item numbers for products you're interested in; this will come in handy for Step 2.
Step 2. Call Ahead
Once you have your list of items, give us a call at 877-806-PURE to let us know you'd like to come in to make a purchase. Provide the item numbers of products you're interested in, your name, and the time we should expect to see you. This is to ensure that your item is in stock and so that we can prepare to have it ready at the front desk when you arrive. Please note that each customer may choose up to three items to see at a time.
Step 3. Getting to Our Warehouse
Our warehouse is located at 2001 Tyler Ave, South El Monte, CA 91733. We have our own private parking lot, which you may use. Please look out for our logo on our building. If you need driving directions, please give us a call at 626-443-6188.
Step 4. Making Your Purchase
When you arrive at our warehouse, simply provide your name at the front desk. Depending on the item(s), you may be able to take it out of the package to view before you make your purchase. Unfortunately, our warehouse does not have any changing rooms for customers to try on costumes. We accept cash or credit (no checks or money orders).
An Alternative: Warehouse Pick-Up/Will Call
For those who prefer, we also provide the option of placing your order online and doing a warehouse pick-up instead. Simply shop and check out online, but select "Warehouse Pick-Up" as your shipping option. There are no additional fees and orders are usually ready for pick-up within 1 business day. Please wait for the email notification stating that your order is ready for pick-up before coming in.
- Calling ahead does not put the item on hold for you. The only way to actually place a hold on an item is to order it online for warehouse pick-up. We cannot be held responsible if an item is sold out between the time that you call and the time that you arrive at our warehouse.
- All wigs and masks may not be tried on, although they may be taken out of the package to be viewed.
- Any items in a sealed package may not be taken out.
- Online promotions, sales, coupon codes, and discounts may not apply when making your purchase in person. They may be applied if you place your order online and select warehouse pick-up.
