Long Beach Mardi Gras– Shoreline Village, Long Beach, March 2nd

Celebrate Mardi Gras without travelling to New Orleans! This Mardi Gras carnival at Shoreline Village is one of Long Beach’s largest free events! At this carnival you’ll find live jazz bands, bead throwing, dancing, people in costume, and a full Mardi Gras parade! This family friendly event is the perfect way to get a taste of Mardi Gras all the way on the West Coast. Get dressed up in your Mardi Gras colors and get into the festive spirit!

 

TFcon– Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport, March 15-17

If you love Transformers then TFcon is the place to be! TFcon is the most attended fan run Transformers convention in the world. At this cool con you’ll find loads of Transformers merchandise, panels with special guests, trivia and art! You can even meet and get an autograph from voice actors from the cartoon! Don’t forget your Transformers costume because there will even be a contest!

 

WonderCon– Anaheim Convention Center, March 29-31

The creators of San Diego Comic Con are heading back to Anaheim for the annual WonderCon convention! This con is the place for everything pop culture! Like every con, WonderCon will feature special guests, exclusive panels, and cool merch! One thing that sets WonderCon apart is its location. Held just around the corner from Disneyland, people often break out their best Disney cosplays! And don’t miss WonderCon’s big Masquerade. It’s a cosplay competition you’ll love to attend!

 

AniFest– Torrance Cultural Arts Center, March 23

Luckily for Anime fans, there’s an Amine convention almost every month! This month check out AniFest! This small con is known for high levels of fun! You can check out live music, DJ sets, and idol performances, rows of vendors, Itashi Anime cars, fashion shows, and a Japanese garden sealed off just for AniFest attendees! It’s the perfect way to experience an Anime convention without the huge crowds of Anime Expo!
