What to Wear: Read Across America Day + Secret Coupon Code

One of the most exciting days of the school year is almost here! Read Across America Day is March 2nd and teachers and students will get together in honor of one of the most influential children’s book authors of all time. Usually, the day is filled with colorful crafts and activities, but if you’re looking for a fun outfit to wear, you’ve come to the right place. Last year, we shared with you a fun DIY Cat in the Hat outfit idea. Today, we’re sharing three more great outfits which are easy to recreate by pulling together stuff from your closet and pairing them with our wonderful Dr. Seuss accessories.

The Grinch

Cat in the Hat “Thing”

DIY Thing Costume

If you’re more about fun, then this Thing-inspired outfit from the popular book The Cat in the Hat may be the perfect outfit. All you need are striped tights and a blue fuzzy wig or headband like what we have here.

The Lorax

DIY Lorax Costume

If you’re a fan of the Lorax, this ensemble may be just what you’re looking for! We took our Lorax accessory kit (here) and partnered it with an orange sweater in homage to the tree-loving character.
