Los Angeles Area Costume Events: October 2021

After over a year of no events blogs, we’re back! We’ve rounded up some local events to get you in the Halloween spirit and have safe costume fun. Here are this year’s October Los Angeles costume events!

Hauntoween– October 1-31st, The Promenade, Woodland Hills

This immersive Halloween experience is fun for the whole family! Hauntoween provides you with every Halloween experience all in one location. Come for face painting, pumpkin picking and carving, trick or treating, performances, games, and more! Costumes are highly encouraged!

 

Halloween Rising: A Stranger Things Experience– October 2, Catch One, Los Angeles

This Halloween, let the adults have some fun. LA Comic Con presents a Halloween party unlike any other! This Stranger Things themed party includes a DJ, themed décor, live performances and more. With multiple rooms, bars, and a patio, you can spread out and feel safe. And It wouldn’t be a Halloween party without a costume contest so get your best Stranger Things costumes ready!

 

Craftoberfest Los Angeles– October 16, Rose Bowl, Pasadena

Find a little bit of Germany in the middle of Los Angeles at this fun Oktoberfest event! Craftoberfest is a food and beverage experience. Enjoy unlimited tastings with craft beer from over 20 of SoCal’s best breweries. Bring a picnic blanket to enjoy and afternoon of traditional Oktoberfest fun! Don’t forget your Lederhosen and Dirndl for the full Oktoberfest experience!

 

The Raven Societea– October 24, Heritage Museum of Orange County, Santa Ana

This immersive high tea experience is for those who love all things dark or spooky! The Raven Societea you will serve you a Victorian tea experience, with a dark, unique twist. Enjoy a market with over 50 vendors, a burlesque show, swamp witch tour, tea leaf readings, vintage films, and more! Dress in your best gothic Victorian wear to fully immerse yourself in the experience!

 

Cemetery Lane– October 27-31, Heritage Square, Los Angeles

The producers of Midsummer Scream teamed up to bring you a spooky event in Heritage Square! This event features 13 themed trick or treat spots at the (possibly haunted) Victorian homes of the Heritage Square Museum. This family friendly event is spooky but not scary so feel free to bring the kids! Costumes are highly encouraged for guests of all ages so expect a fun time!
