Sunday Funday: Seussical the Musical

With Read Across America Day coming up, we just couldn’t get Dr. Seuss off of our minds. Coincidentally enough, we ran across a local family event in Redondo Beach for a show called Seussical the Musical. It’s a family-friendly musical that combines some of Dr. Seuss’ most popular stories, (including The Cat in the Hat, Horton Hears a Who, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas), into one incredible show. The musical performances take you through a variety of genres from pop to gospel to swing and more.

The show has several weekend performances from February 28 through March 8, 2015 at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. What better way to get in the mood for Read Across America Day (or week, in some cases), than with a Dr. Seuss-themed musical? With all the fun characters and heart-warming stories, it sounds like a fun and entertaining show that the whole family can enjoy.
