Let’s take a quick look at the superhero movies of 2016:
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Captain America: Civil War
Yes, 2016 has been such a great year for superhero movies, but the year’s not over yet. Can you believe that Suicide Squad is premiering next week? Waiting has felt like eternity and now comic book fans will soon have something else to obsess about for the next week, month, maybe even year! In honor of the upcoming film, we wanted to give you a sneak peek at our incoming Suicide Squad costumes.
She’s one of the most cosplayed characters at any event and it’s pretty obvious why. Her style is fun and eclectic and distinct. Her newest look, though much different than her previous incarnations, stays true to her character. Featuring color-blocked pieces and a playful pigtails, we predict that her new look will be a hit come Halloween.
Harley Quinn’s not the only classic character that’s got a new look. Her “bae,” the Joker, also has a new look going on. Jared Leto’s Joker look is equal parts chic bad boy and edgy rebel. I mean, who could forget his tattooed pale skin and slicked back hair from the trailers?
Deadshot, Killer Croc, and Katana
The rest of the crew will make their big silver-screen debut with iconic looks of their own. Deadshot has been known in the comic books to prize his sense of style along with his deadly aim. His combination of function and style can be seen in his sleek face mask and gun-toting gauntlets. Killer Croc is a straight up anthromorphic crocodile, scales, teeth, and all. Luckily, you won’t need toxic waste or a strange birth defect or even be bit by a radioactive crocodile to get his look, just a mask. Lastly, there’s Katana. Though Arrow fans are probably pretty familiar with Katana, she won’t be rocking the same outfit in Suicide Squad. Instead, she’s got a more street-practical look featuring a jacket and pants.
