Free Comic Book Day 2015
For those who love comics and comic book characters, there’s one day you’ll want to mark on your calendar. May 2nd is the return of Free Comic Book Day. On Free Comic Book Day, participating comic book stores will be giving out free comic books from a pre-selected assortment. The participating stores may offer anywhere from one or more free comic book depending on their individual policies. This year’s featured comics include TMNT, Avengers, Transformers, and a Teen Titans/Scooby Doo mash-up! The full list is available on their website, but what your local comic book store may offer as the free comic book may differ from store to store. It’s a great way to get exposed to a new series or an entirely different genre! The best way to find out what they’ll be giving away and other special events they have lined up for the day would be to call ahead.
On top of all this, the organizers of Free Comic Book Day will be hosting a photo sharing contest the day of. To enter, post pictures of your experience on their Facebook page and on and tweet them @freecomicbook with #fcbd2014 or #fcbd for a chance to win $50 gift card to your local comic book shop.
