What to Wear: Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend
|The Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend is taking place this weekend at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. This event takes place at the happiest place on Earth and will have a variety of events including a 10K, a 5K, kid races, the Half Marathon main event, and so much more! To learn more, be sure to visit their website.
The theme for the weekend is “To Infinity and Beyond!” So the marathon will have a theme focused on the some of your favorite Pixar films, including, of course, Toy Story. If you’re at a loss for what to wear, we’ve put together a few ideas for you to make things easier. We made sure to include Toy Story suggestions as well as classic Disney ideas for you.
Full Costumes
Yes, believe it or not, some runners show up in full costume for their runs. You may think it might be too uncomfortable but you wouldn’t believe how many of our costumes are actually pretty lightweight and easy to move in.

Create Your Own
If you’re still unsure about showing up in full costume, you can always create your own. You can start off with a costume kit that includes a few key pieces and then complete the look with your own running gear in coordinating colors. This way, you can still fit into the Disney theme while feeling extra comfortable.

Accessories
For those of you who aren’t into the whole costume thing, no worries. You really don’t have to be in costume at all for these runs. But if you still want to show just a little Disney spirit for your run, we suggest a simple accessory like a headband or a hat.

The most important thing, of course, is to have fun! Are you taking part in the race? Be sure to tell us about it in the comments below!
