Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is hosting the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon Weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The event is taking place from February 23-26, 2017 where girls and women of any age can participate in these magic and fun-filled events, which include a 5K run, a 10K run, a half marathon, or the Glass Slipper Challenge.

If you’re thinking about participating (sign up here), you’re in for quite a treat. Not only do you get to run a marathon at the happiest place on earth with Disney princesses cheering you on, but there’s also special events coordinated for your pleasure, including course surprises, Princess events, and an after-run party.

Best of all, this run is for charity for children’s hospitals all over the United States and Canada so you can do your part to help out. To learn more, check out the official website.

If you are planning on participating, you can of course wear whatever you’d like. But many participants do think it’s more fun to dress in costumes and I couldn’t agree more. You can opt to wear a full on princess costume if you’d like, but if you’re looking for something little more sporty, I put together this amazing Jasmine-themed outfit for your inspiration.

Disney Jasmine Activewear Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Fun Run Outfit
This outfit consists of a pair of comfy sweats, a sports bra, headband, and running shoes, all in Jasmine’s signature mint green color. I also threw in a pair of tiger print sunglasses as a tribute to her lovable pet tiger, Rajah. A glitter water bottle and gold studded backpack are perfect accessories that are fit for a princess. And finally, a Jasmine tiara and wand to pull the whole look together.
I hope this outfit inspires you to rock your inner Jasmine or perhaps create a sporty look of a different princess altogether. Whatever you decide to wear, just make sure you have fun and let us know how it went in the comments below!

I'm a mother of two and constantly searching for ways to have adventures and create memories as a new family. I love all things Disney, I'm obsessed with family costumes, and I will find any excuse to dress up and celebrate.
