Sunday Funday: Local NYE Raves

Christmas is usually a time for family, but New Year’s Eve is all about partying! (Or so I’ve been told by some young people.) For those who are looking to end 2014 with a bang, there’s no better place to be at than at a massive New Year’s Eve rave. This year, there are several events happening all over California for our local customers to attend.

This year, the annual White Wonderland hosted by Insomniac, (the folks who bring you EDC), returns to the Anaheim Convention Center to ring in 2015 the best way they know how – with music, wild light shows, and more. Be sure to wear all white to this venue. A white mask or tutu (here) wouldn’t be a bad choice. With this event in its fourth year, hosted by one of the biggest rave production companies in the industry, you can be sure of a good time. Up north, there will be a huge NYE celebration at the Oakland Oracle Arena. Unlike White Wonderland, the new northern tradition, POPNYE, will be filled with color! This venue will feature a 360 degree rotating stage and some great industry DJs. Find more information and get tickets here.

For those in the deep south of California, there’s another huge party going on called OMFG! San Diego. Unlike the others, this will be a three-day celebration to bid farewell to the year. This event has some pretty big headliners including Tiesto and Hardwell, not to mention over a dozen more acts. For more information on this event, you can visit the website here.
