Mother-Daughter Costume Ideas 2014
Halloween is the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with your little one. If you’re planning on taking your daughter out trick or treating or a fun Halloween event this year, why not coordinate your costumes? We’ve put together a few mother-daughter costume ideas for you and your little girl.
Queen Amidala and Leia
The first and most obvious idea for mother-daughter costumes is, of course, mother-daughter characters. For all the sci-fi and Star Wars fans out there, we suggest going as Queen Amidala and Princess Leia. Though the two characters never appeared together in the same movie, you know the true fans will get the reference.
Maleficent and Aurora
Another idea is to think of mother-daughter relationships. Though Maleficent wasn’t Aurora’s real mother, she was still a mother figure to Aurora and loved her like her own. Plus, we’re pretty sure most little girls would love any chance to dress up like Sleeping Beauty.
Cruella and a Dalmatian
You don’t always have to look to the mother-daughter combo. You can switch it up and have a little bit of fun by being enemies instead. Cruella Deville was the villain in 101 Dalmatians and just wanted to hunt down Dalmatians for fur. The two of you are sure to put a smile on everyone’s faces when you show up as one of the cruelest villains in Disney history and an innocent little puppy.
Domo
Finally, if all else fails, you the two of you can wear different versions of the same costume. The new Domo costumes come in child, teen, and adult versions. These costumes are too cute and, hey, who doesn’t love Domo??
